This policy explains what information javportals.com (the "site") collects when you use it, why, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and password, which is stored only as a secure hash. If you sign in with Google, Google gives us your name, email address and profile picture.
• Your activity: the videos you add to favorites, your comments and the likes you give to comments, all linked to your account.
• Messages you send us: the name, email address, subject, link and message you enter in the contact form.
• Technical data: like any website, our servers process your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. We use your IP address briefly to limit abuse such as spam; it is not stored with your comments or messages, but it may appear in server logs.

2. Cookies and local storage

The site uses a few cookies it needs to work: one that keeps you signed in, one that protects forms against forgery, and a session cookie that remembers the videos you watched during your visit. Your browser's local storage remembers that you confirmed your age and a few display preferences. We do not use these for advertising.

The advertising and the video player on the site may set their own cookies; those are governed by the providers' own policies.

3. How we use information

We use information to run the site and your account, show your favorites and comments, answer your messages, keep the site secure and prevent abuse, and understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We process it to provide the service you ask for, for our legitimate interest in running and protecting the site, and with your consent where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Sharing

We share information only with providers that help us run the site, such as hosting, storage and content delivery, email delivery, and Google when you sign in with it, and only as far as they need it. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.

5. How long we keep it

Account details, favorites and comments are kept until you delete them or ask us to delete your account. Contact messages are kept as long as we need them to deal with your request. Server logs are kept for a short period for security.

6. Your rights

You can change your name in your profile. Through the contact page you can ask us to give you a copy of your personal data, correct it, or delete it together with your account. Depending on where you live, for example in the EU or the UK, you may have further rights, including the right to object to processing and to complain to a data protection authority.

7. Children

The site is for adults only. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we delete any account we learn belongs to a minor.

8. Security

We protect your information with reasonable measures, including encrypted connections, hashed passwords and limited access, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. International transfers

Our providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where the law requires it, such transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards.
